                <p>Bei dem Programm <a href="http://gscrot.ubuntu-projekte.de">GScrot</a> handelt um um eine grafische Oberfläche für das Kommandozeilenprogramm <a href="http://freshmeat.net/projects/scrot/">scrot</a> (<strong>scr</strong>eensh<strong>ot</strong>). Man kann damit also den Bildschirm in eine Datei speichern lassen.</p>

<p>Soweit bisher kein Unterschied zu der üblichen Druck-Taste und dem in Gnome vorhandenen Programm, oder? Doch!</p>

<p>GScrot bietet nämlich folgende Vorteile:<br />
<ul>
	<li>einen einzelnen Bereich auswählen</li>
	<li>Effekte auf das Bild anwenden (z. B. Rahmen, Schatten, Sepia, Schwarz/Weiß)</li>
	<li>direktes Malen im Screenshot (bisher nur mit Pinsel)</li>
	<li>Bild hoch laden zu einem kostenlosen Bilder-Hoster</li>
	<li>automatisches Speichern in einen selbst definierten Ordner</li><br />
</ul></p>

<p>Wer sich das Programm jetzt mal genauer ansehen will, braucht nur auf die <a href="http://gscrot.ubuntu-projekte.de">Homepage</a> zu schauen, dort gibt es ein paar aussagekräftige Bildschirmfotos und natürlich auch den Download für Ubuntu :smile:</p>

<p>Gleich ein Update: Im <a href="http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/GScrot">ubuntuusers-wiki</a> habe ich gesehen, dass es auch direkt Quellen für Ubuntu gibt</p>

<p>Einfach hardy gegen z. B. intrepid ersetzen und in die <b>/etc/apt/sources.list</b> eintragen. Danach kann man das Programm mit </p>

<pre><code>sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gscrot</code></pre>

<p>in der aktuellen Version installieren.</p>
